Hackathon rules & guidelines

Please read all rules carefully before registering.

Open innovation

No fixed problem statement. Teams are free to pick any domain, industry, or real-world problem they are passionate about.

Your idea can be anything โ€” a social impact tool, productivity app, AI solution, developer tool, or anything in between. Creativity is the only limit.

  • Developer tools

Team formation

Min: 2 members ยท Max: 4 members

Each team must have between 2 and 4 members. Solo participation is not permitted.

Development & submissions

On-spot development only. All code must be written during the hackathon. No pre-built projects.

Teams must submit their GitHub repository link immediately after registration. Commits will be monitored to verify on-spot development.

Upload your PPT and PDF to the portal before the submission deadline. Incomplete submissions may be disqualified.

Registration & eligibility

All participants must be currently enrolled in a recognized college or university.

Do not provide false information during registration. Keep contact details accurate and up-to-date.

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Conduct & ethics

Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.

Participants retain full IP ownership of their projects. Organizers may request code or details for promotional purposes only.

Transport & stay

Accommodation and travel are not provided. Participants must arrange their own.

Food & snacks

Meals and snacks will be provided by the organizers throughout the event.

Pro tip

  • Bring a socket or extension board if possible โ€” power sockets may be limited at the venue.
  • Carry a reusable water bottle so you can stay hydrated between provided meals and snacks.
